On Feb. 21, the Oswego City Police Department announced that five of their officers had received congressional recognition from Rep. John Katko, honoring them for their work to save a woman from drowning in the Oswego River last December.

As published here.  Evan Coy first walked into The Comic Shop on Oswego’s East Bridge Street as a customer, but within six months, he has taken over as owner and saved the shop from closure.

O’Donnell Media Summit is coming on Oct. 17, where five panelists will come to campus, stopping by classes and workshops sponsored by the media organizations, to speak on the topic of social media advocacy and the nature of social movements in the digital era.
The Oswego State College Democrats club has a new lease on life. Club President Connor Breese said he wants to make the club an active, engaged part of local politics and make it a tool for both its members and local Democratic candidates.
